Although named after the nearby Baroque bastion Cornaro, our hotel exudes the city’s history and atmosphere in many ways. One of the hotel wings was once an old city hospital and the other used to be the former main postal office, which has been a part of the city centre since 1939.

The hotel has been refurbished by a renowned architect team of Šverko & Šverko atelier, aiming to maintain its historical value while providing comfort and all the functionalities needed to assure the high level of service. The original elements of the building have been conserved, such as the imposing stone arches, pillars and facade covered with stone from the island of Brač, resulting in a refined property full of history, yet luxurious and comfortable at the same time.
