Nestled amid East Cork’s woodlands, the luxury 5-Star Castlemartyr Resort is a destination richly steeped in Irish history and tradition. Situated on 220 acres, Castlemartyr Resort consists of a grand 17th century country manor house that sits adjacent to the ruins of an 800-year-old-castle.
With a storied history that includes Strongbow, Walter Raleigh, the Knights Templar and more, the Castlemartyr Resort was officially opened for guests in 2008. Over the years the grounds and buildings have been tastefully updated, they have been magnificently restored and elegantly enhanced to offer 108 guest rooms and suites, along with 36 luxury residences.

The hotel offers four dining options: Canopy serving contemporary Irish cuisine, the elegant Knights Bar, our informal Clubhouse offering a lighter dining option and the Hunted Hog Traditional Irish Pub along with an ambient atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Manor House
Our Magnificent State Rooms Are Located In The Heart Of The 18th Century Manor House With Picturesque Views Over The Lake And Meadows.
Each exudes old world character and is individually styled with silk lined walls and exquisite soft furnishings.
The striking black marbled bathrooms have separate rainforest showers, full baths, marble-topped vanities and separate toilets.
All Suites have a kingsize bed in a beautifully appointed bedroom and feature a spacious sitting room area. All Junior Suites also offer a walk through wardrobe and dressing room area, ideal for freshening up or preparing for a nights entertainment in the hotel. The luxurious white Italian marbled bathrooms are very spacious and have separate rainforest shower, with full bath, double vanity and separate toilet. Juniors Suites are 650/800 square feet in size and accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children under 12.
Located on the 3rd floor our Junior Suite with balcony offer fabulous views over our 220 acres made up of woodland, manicured gardens and lush greens of our Golf Course. Inside our Junior Suites are lavishly decorated in neutral tones for the ultimate in comfort & relaxation. The spacious adjoining sitting room leading through to a beautifully appointed guest room with Kingsize bed, Smart TV and separate Sitting Room Area. All Junior Suites also offer a walk through wardrobe and dressing room area leading to the spacious luxurious white Italian marbled bathrooms with separate rainforest shower, full bath, double vanity and separate toilet.
